Weekender Q&A session recording
The Weekender is the place where immersive creatives and audience meet.
At the start of October ‘24, we had a day of workshops and talks culminating in a Q&A session. This is the recording from that session.
This was an informal Q&A session intended for those in the room, in the spirit of a shared experience. All guests have given permission to share this recording with the group members of The PPSC, but note that some details are not meant to be shared on the internet! Therefore, there are some parts that have been omitted from this video.
We’re sharing this because there are some interesting and informative moments, not to mention some really funny stories and an update on what’s happening at Secret Cinema HQ.
Please note *This was recorded on a phone and has had no post production touch ups. There are some points when the camera is trying to balance the light and parts where you’ll hear the heater in the room turn on.
However, you can see and hear all questions and answers throughout. It’s only mentioned so you’re not expecting a high production value! (sorry, we just don’t have time for that)
Why are we charging for it?
To be totally transparent, the funds from this will go toward the website renewal which we have a deficit of £248-392 depending on the plan we go for (this will depend on whether we have a need for payment plan/subscription options). Last year this came out of our own pocket.
The website is due for renewal on the 20th December. If we don’t reach the amount required, we’ll put a hold on the website until next year (which means this video will also not be available). If we go over the amount required, anything in excess will be added to the ticket fund pot.
We want to remain accessible and if it’s not feasible for you to contribute and you want to see the video please contact us.*
HOW WILL YOU RECEIVE THE VIDEO?
Once the order goes through you’ll receive a confirmation email (from info@positiveevents.co.uk). shortly after this email we will (manually- bear with!) ‘fufill’ the order. You will then receive a second email with the order number and “Weekender Q&A” in the subject. This will contain a link to the video.
If you do not get the link within 24 hours, please let us know.
We’re leaving it up to you to decide how much to contribute
